The Artesian

Billed as an innovative, resource-efficient (and therefore profitable) solution to water shortages on desert planets, the Artesian combined directional propulsion, rotational gravity, glacier-drilling technologies, water-cooled nuclear fusion, and hydroponics to create an indefinitely self-sustaining vessel that could cheaply transport liquid water between planets. Unfortunately, on its maiden voyage, the prototype picked up a waterborne fungus that disrupted the articficial habitat and communications were lost with the crew.
